About Ursula

I listen for a living! I listen in a unique way where I really hear the language of the unconscious of my clients. This is important, for when you talk about difficult things in psychotherapy it’s not the same as telling your friends about your story. You can expect me to enquire, gently, in order to understand in a different way, the nuances of your story. You may need to tell your story a few times before you can have a different relationship with it, as the unconscious gives up its hold on the ways that hold you back and instead allows you to become the person you were born to be.

Sometimes it’s difficult to talk in sessions. However I welcome this and indeed use these silences to deepen the work. I also practice a nonverbal model of therapy called sand therapy in the session: a powerful way of freeing up the unconscious which both facilitates and enables free expression.
